Make it move-in ready

Turnkey Options Available

Simplify your life with a turnkey home package

What is a turnkey house and land package, and why should you choose it?

A turnkey house and land package is quite simply just as it sounds. A selected block in the suburb of your choice packaged up with a home designed to maximise that blocks’ potential – and it comes completely ready for living.

Once your house and land package is built, you can simply turn the key in the lock and your home is ready for you to move right in without you having to do a whole bunch of essential tasks to make your home liveable – though depending on the package you select you may still have some items you opt to finish after handover. Turnkey homes, also known as ‘move-in ready’ or ‘complete’ new homes offer multiple benefits to buyers, as outlined here:

1. Unexpected costs kept at a minimum

When you sign your initial contract, all of the finishing touches are already taken into account and therefore any additional or unexpected building costs should be kept at a minimum – which your budget will thank you for. Usually, the following inclusions typically apply with a turnkey house and land package:

Internal

  • Internal Wall Painting
  • Quality Floor Coverings – Tiling, Laminate, Carpet
  • Window Treatments Throughout
  • Essa Stone Benchtops to Kitchen
  • Premium Italian Kitchen Appliances
  • Quality Caroma Bathroom Fixtures, Tapware and Accessories

External

  • Elevation as Pictured
  • Feature Front Door
  • 5 Star Hot Water System
  • Paving to Driveway
  • Mailbox
  • Clothesline
  • Doorbell

You can even opt to upgrade with some premium inclusions to your package such as;

Extra Options

  • Fully Ducted Reverse Cycle Air-Conditioning
  • LED Lighting Package
  • Custom Design Service

And depending on where you’ve chosen to build, you may be eligible to receive some bonus extras thanks to the land estate developer!

Developer Extras

  • Side and Rear Fencing
  • Front Landscaping Allowance
  • NBN Connectivity

2. An easygoing process

The process of purchasing a turnkey house and land package is much more relaxed as your builder will provide and schedule each and every service required in the new build. This is much more straightforward than having to coordinate multiple trades and suppliers to deliver and install after you have taken possession of your brand-new home. With your qualified builder managing the entire build, they’re able to use their experience to efficiently book each aspect of your build to avoid unnecessary delays. Ultimately easing potential obstructions in getting you into your finished new home, faster.

 3. Streamlined prestart selections

Prestart is one of the most exciting parts of a new build but can also be a daunting process. But you can take the stress out by making your selections via our customer portal, which provides you with 24/7 access to a wide range of fixtures, finishes, and colour selections to help you make your new house, your home. When you set foot in our showroom, you’re welcome to browse at your leisure or you can opt to arrange a formal meet with an experienced New Homes Administrator to finalise your selections. Make use of our 3D model to see how your choices come together.

4. Covered by manufacturer and builder’s warranty

When you choose a turnkey house and land package, you’re also choosing to protect manufacturer and builder’s warranty as each item will be installed by a specialized professional, endorsed by your project builder.  Importantly, should you opt to complete works on your home, outside of the building contract, by way of engaging in your own after trades, you may inadvertently void your builder’s warranty, in the event their works alter or cause defect to works within the building contract which are covered by the builder’s warranty.

5. Moving in

And finally, the most advantageous feature of purchasing a turnkey new home is your time saved. You’ll have an idea of when your new home will be ready allowing you to make your arrangements to move straight into your home that has everything you need from the moment you receive your keys. So you can get on to the important part of organising your housewarming and inviting your loved ones to enjoy your new home with you.

Other things to consider when building a new home

Turnkey house and land packages are also priced to include vital sitework costs on your block. This includes essentials like the cost of earthworks including power, water and, sewerage connections. These costs are absolutely necessary and must be planned for in your initial budget. Any quotes on building a new home you receive that do not include a generous siteworks allowance should be thoroughly questioned.

Project builders are well versed in the local shire regulations and r-codes (residential design codes) which means you can avoid inconvenient delays and bothersome tasks by leaving your builder to manage the paperwork and construction hassles.
